Daily Deviation

Given 2007-10-24

Surrealism is a genre that takes the every day, familiar in our lives and gives them a twist of subreality. peace by ~scarabuss does precisely that in presenting the familiar image of a bird, but suspended in flight in a way that almost makes it seem meticulously posed, dead, and stiff. The clarity of the image and it's disconnect from reality caught my eye and left me transfixed. (Featured by ^opioid)
